Buddy & Me Bakery

This project aims to create a dog-friendly bakery for disabled and special needs dogs. These dogs often lack suitable places for their unique requirements. The goal is to provide an inclusive environment where both dogs and their owners can enjoy the bakery experience safely. This project includes designing the store's interior, logo, branding, and furniture.

Background

This project centers around establishing a dog-friendly bakery company specifically designed to cater to disabled and special needs dogs, ensuring they can fully enjoy the bakery experience. These remarkable dogs often require a higher level of service and attention, which is not always readily available or tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where owners can comfortably bring their dogs and interact with the surroundings, including furniture and food, in a safe and welcoming manner. This venture will encompass both the store's interior, designed to accommodate both dogs and their human companions, as well as the development of a logo, branding, and bespoke store furniture.

Goals

To create an environment tailored to the medical requirements of special need dogs to further foster free interaction with their surroundings. My project will integrate specialized furniture and business elements designed to accommodate these dogs.

Requirements

All products must be designed to be pet-friendly, considering the likelihood of dogs interacting with them. It's crucial that all products can be safely accessed or perceived by dogs. Additionally, since dogs have dichromatic vision, perceiving colors in blue, yellow, and dull shades, it's imperative that the branding, products, and overall ambiance of the business are designed to be visible to dogs. Furthermore, the furniture should also be tailored to accommodate our canine friends.

Product Concept

Utilizing virtual reality software Arkio, to create a specialized bakery catering to dogs with special needs.

First Floor : Register and Seating Area

A spacious interior adorned with trees, ample seating next to expansive window panels, tables featuring built-in ramps, and a prominent showcase located by the register, also accessible via a ramp.

First Floor : Outdoor Space

Outdoor area embellished with lush trees, verdant grass, abundant seating equipped with ramps and shaded areas, convenient water faucets, tables, a play area featuring ramps, and a custom-designed playhouse
